Why My Experience Matters
Deven Sandhu, PhD, MBA, ICD.D brings 25+ years of community, executive and governance leadership. A 2022 Order of Vaughan recipient, he has served as Trustee/Chair of the Vaughan Public Library Board, on Vaughan's Governance Task Force, provincial health tribunals, the Ontario Science Centre Board, York University's EMBA Schulich & Kellogg Program, and St. Robert Catholic High School. Currently Managing Director of Biocule Inc., a biotechnology company, and Adjunct Professor at DEI University, Deven brings experience, accountability and evidence-based leadership which included public resources, budgets, library services, literacy, technology and the evolving needs of one of Canada's fastest-growing and most diverse communities where 113 languages are spoken.
